What is Credenda?
Credenda is an independent publishing company devoted to thoughtful, enduring work — writing that carries weight, care and intention. We aim to provide literature that is truthful, grounded in experimental Calvinism and serves the Reformed community.
What kind of manuscripts do you publish?
We are drawn to work that is well translated and/or well written and aligns with our statement of faith. You can submit manuscripts via our manuscript submission form located at the bottom of our website. We do not publish academic works, or poetry. There are times we many reject a manuscript, not because it is theologically faulty, but because the quality of authorship is lacking.
Do you accept unsolicited submissions?
Yes. We welcome manuscript submissions through our website here. Each submission will be reviewed with care, though response times may vary as we prioritize thoughtful consideration over speed.
How can I stay connected with Credenda?
You can join our mailing list to hear about new releases. We will not be sending out newsletters other than notifying you of new products.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes, we offer local pickup to those in the Fraser Valley, or for those who can arrange pickup in the Fraser Valley. Information for pickup will be provided at checkout.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Cash (local pickup only)
- E-transfer (for approved customers or churches)
- Cheque (for approved customers or churches)
Do you offer wholesale discounts?
Yes, we have discounts that are automatically applied at checkout on orders of 10 books or more. These discounts do not apply to collections or items that are already on sale. If you believe you may qualify for a discount and do not see it applied, please contact us at nfo@credendapress.ca and we will do our best to help!
How can I provide feedback?
We are highly appreciative of feedback, whether it be to improve your website or shopping experience, or your reading experience. We admit we are not perfect and are pleased when we are notified of
